Teleop Periodic vs Teleop Continuous

What is the difference between Teleop Periodic and Teleop Continuous?
Which should I use for say... my drivetrain code?

Thank ya much!

Re: Teleop Periodic vs Teleop Continuous

TeleopPeriodic is called at a regular interval (about every 20ms), synchronized with the Driver Station packets. TeleopContinuous is called repeatedly as quickly as possible. Use of TeleopContinuous is deprecated; you should use TeleopPeriodic instead.

Correction: As stated below, TeleopContinuous is not deprecated, but removed. You should still use TeleopPeriodic.

Deprecated usually implies that it still works. TeleopContinuous has been removed from the IterativeRobot base class and won't be called by anything even if you put code in it.

Where did you read about the continuous methods? Sounds like there's something that should be updated.
