A tutorial for Java Programming in IntelliJ IDEA

So I've just finished a video tutorial on how to set up my favorite IDE for FRC 2014 WPIlibJ programming. Here's a link!

Re: A tutorial for Java Programming in IntelliJ IDEA

Thanks a ton. IntelliJ is my favorite IDE and the primary one that I use for school development and I've missed it so much during this season.

Just wondering, do you know if there is any way to use Ant as a build configuration to add it to the toolbar Run option? It's just weird to have to find the Ant Build window on the side and switch to it to Run the program.

Good job on the video. However, just a comment.

It is a bit 'information dense' to convey all of the details and your voice is very fast to try and grasp all these details. I would suggest that you publish a document file and push it here to CD for others to reference.

I would like to see more about this IDE, but the details went past in a blur of Java.

Thanks

Sorry about that, I was a little excited when recording. :P
I did transcribe the video, and I'm gonna do CC as soon as I can. Maybe I'll post the transcript separately as well?
The video was more of a "how to set it up" than an intro to this IDE. If you wanna learn more, check out their feature list. http://www.jetbrains.com/idea/features/index.html

EDIT: Got the CC uploaded! Might help understanding.

Great tutorial! thanks, i've been looking for a way to use Intelliij in FRC for a while, I never found a practical way of setting it up though, it still might be a bit complex for a new team, but i've always found intellij to be a far more intuitive IDE than eclipse or netbeans.
