1/4" chain and links from small parts

Engineer on team #255, Odyssey, from Foothill HS, San Jose and NASA. Is anyone else having trouble with the chain and quick links from small parts? the pins seem a bit short (or the chain seems a bit thick. We can't seem to get both the plate and clip to fit on. Or am I missng something. We used 3/8' chain last year with none of these problems. |

It seemed to me that the holes in the top plate (?) were too small for it to fit over the pins. I used our chain tool to press on a plate that I had removed from another link. It is working so far but that is because I haven't had to take it apart before. Matt B. T49 The Knights |
