Number of Slide Drive Motors?

How many cim motors on the perpendicular omni-wheel are required to effectively operate a slide drive?

At a minimum I would guess one. I don't see why you would want more than that.

Ok thanks. We were planning on going with 2 but we can better use the motor elsewhere.
