4918 had a special visitor last night...
 

Special Thank You to Representative Derek Kilmer from Washington's 6th District for stopping by 4918's build space last night. Congressman Kilmer sits on the House Committee for Science, Space and Technology, the very committee that recently heard testimony from Dean Kamen and several FIRST students. Team 4918 enjoyed the opportunity to show off prototypes and a working drivebase to a congressional fan of FIRST Robotics. We look forward to seeing increased federal participation in STEM education efforts, including FRC.
