Air compresser wiring
 
Do air compressors need to have a motor controller? We are unsure which type of motor controller (talon, spike, etc...) we would reasonably need, if any.

Spike Relay and spike relay only.

That is an option, but is not required.

Add "Al recommended". The Thomas Compressor has a start current of 25 amps, guaranteed to trip the fuse eventually. IFI suggested this addition long ago.
