cross the road electronics 2 can.

Greetings, I am looking for the 2CAN.
http://www.crosstheroadelectronics.com/2CAN.ht

Our team is looking to buy one, but from the information I received cross the roads no longer will be carrying them because the manufacturer is not making them. I am looking to buy and or trade for a 2 CAN from another team if they have one laying around that they are willing to part with.PM if you are interested.thanks

I have searched the internet and have not been able to find a 2 can to buy. Does anyone know where to get one or have one laying around?

the 2CAN is no longer available but the 2CAN 2.0 Here is available.

As a side note ... because the 2CAN is no longer available, it is no longer COTS and teams cannot use them.

Actually, I think the OP was referring to the 2CAN 2.0 (despite the bad link). If you go to CTRE's site, it tells you to go to Andymark to purchase it. Andymark's site says it is out of stock and that CTRE is no longer selling them. They may have stopped making them in anticipation of the switch to RoboRIO next year. Unfortunately, we don't have any, so I can't help you out. :(

Are you sure? Manual reads:

Quote:

Items that are no longer commercially available but are functionally equivalent to the original condition as delivered from the VENDOR are considered COTS and may be used.
I don't see how one would modify a 2CAN, so it should still be functionally equivalent.

One year during inspection our inspector considered it a custom circuit.
