RobotBuilder creating code That doesn't compile?
Hi there,
We are a new team this year and are trying to get our programming structures build with RobotBuilder so we can add all of our Subsystems in. We were able to build a simple robot and program our driving needs in until this point. Knowing we need more structure to create a functioning robot for competition we are trying to get robot builder working. When I create a project in robotbuilder and export it to Java, it doesn't compile. Funny thing is, it seemed to work yesterday. I have been searching for why this might have changed and I'm not sure if I should just delete that and reinstall? Or is this an easy fix if you know where to look? I have found this link but, wanted to ask before going through this process. http://wpilib.screenstepslive.com/s/...elopment-tools Thank you for your help! Naomi #4980 |
Re: RobotBuilder creating code That doesn't compile?
The only time I've seen RobotBuilder generate code that doesn't compile is when the user inputs invalid identifiers. For example, this bug: http://firstforge.wpi.edu/sf/go/artf1710
If you posted your robot builder yml file and project, we might be able to help. |
Re: RobotBuilder creating code That doesn't compile?
Oh, holy crap. That was it. I now know we can't start a project name with a number. We were trying to be good about keeping track of projects/versions etc. I guess just not in a smart way. Thank you for your link!
