GTRW - Setup Volunteers Needed
 

ChiefDelphi Community, I am forwarding on a message from Ms. Marcella Fioroni - teacher at Crescent School, and Regional Co-Chair for the GTRW event:

Dear FRC Community,

I am in great need of help setting up for the GTR West Regional being held at Crescent School. As you know, FIRST is a volunteer-run organization and the events are mainly run by volunteers. Due to the logistical restrictions of this event, we have more set-up work than a regular competition. The Field House needs to be cleared out for the event.

I just found out that FIRST is having difficulty supplying volunteers to us. Please read below and if you can help us out, we would greatly appreciate it!

We need you!

1. Tuesday, February 25th from 9am-12pm
We need help moving some of the equipment from the Field House into the FH change rooms. The job will be to lift and move some medium-heavy equipment. We need roughly 10 volunteers.

2. Wednesday, February 26th from 9am-1pm.
We need help laying the protective floor covering on the floor of the FH. This is a job that can be done quickly with more volunteers present. We need 10 or more volunteers.

3. Sunday, March 2nd from 6pm-completion
We need help undoing the set up: taking off the floor covering and putting the equipment back into the FH. The more volunteers the better!
