Our ball isn't round anymore.

So we were finishing our final prototype for our pick up arm and were having serious inconsistency problems. We tried to figure out what was going on and eventually found that the ball wasn't round. It is anywhere from 24 inches to 25 inches diameter.

Has anyone else had this problem? And if so any ideas on fixing it?

Should we deflate it then re-inflate it again.

I would say that it is a reasonable assumption that some competition balls will be slightly out of round within these tolerances, and teams should design accordingly.

Our ball has never been round.

I think ours is actually getting more round with time as the cover stretches where it was tightest.

Ours seemed to become more round, too. Not sure if constantly reminding folks not to use it as a chair had anything to do with that.
