Sourcing for specialty stock
 

Has anyone been able to find a supplier for 1/2" x 1 1/2" aluminum box tubing (1/16th wall)? We have some short pieces laying around but some designs have called for longer pieces and I haven't had much luck finding it everywhere.

They have what you want but 1/8" walls

When we're looking for pieces we've seen but can't find, we call our metal supplier and they are sometimes able to track it down for us.

We use Coast aluminum in California, which would make no sense for you guys but there will be an equivalent out there.

Contact a local machine shop and ask who their supplier is.
