How to attach hub to window motor

Hello.

We currently have the black plastic hubs that fit onto the shaft of the denso window motors. To attach them, we have previously used holes drilled through the shaft with a pin of some sort to attach the two. However, I think that this isn't the best solution and I was curious what other ways (if any) you guys used to attach those black plastic hubs, apart from solely friction. It seems as though there are small holes drilled into the plastic star shape around the shaft on the window motor - should these be used for screws?
Thanks.

We tend to drill into the hubs and tap holes for 10-32 screws that we use as setscrews. I could grab a picture for you at our meeting today if you'd like.

Last year we used the window motor with the hub mounted upside-down for our cam shooter. Obviously it would have been a problem if the hub on the motor had no firm grip so we just used superglue and it worked fine! :D (but then you're probably left with a permanently attached hub  )

In the past, we just would machine a plate that would sandwich with whatever the Denso motor would attach to. This however is a bit more work and machining a hole the size of the shaft holder can't be easily done without help from a machine shop unless you have a drill bit that big:D
