Newest video! We made a homemade steady cam mount and the video came out great.

You guys seem to have made some good progress. I am super jealous of you guys having somewhere warm to build outside. The one question I have is what is your teams intake mechanism? Your shooter seems pretty simple and works quite well.

That's actually what we're working on now! We're fabricating a device similar to a baseball glove that lowers down onto the ground and picks up a ball, then grips it and raises it back up. This allows us to also catch.

You may want to go with something simpler and similar to others you'll see this year. A roller intake would work much better with your setup, in my opinion, and would still allow you to catch with your cradled shooter.

Seriously though, this is a great robot so far. You guys should be extremely proud.

Side note - who on your team has prior FRC or FIRST experience?

I was wondering why your working place looked familiar. It was the lack of snow lol. We are team 5329 from Miami and will be seeing you guys at the South Florida Regional!

We don't really have much room for design changes, but thanks for the idea. ^^ Two of our three mentors were on a FIRST team a few years back and the third owns a manufacturing business. It's his garage we are building the robot in.

Woo! Hopefully we'll be next to each other in the pits! It's awesome to meet another local team.

Actually, after looking at the teams that are going, we definitely will be!
