Looking for 2CAN to buy or trade
 

With next year's move to additional system components that support CAN, we decided to take the plunge and use CAN bus with Jaguars on this year's robot to get some experience. We had an original 2CAN 1.0 module on our shelves that we've been using to do development.

We always make a twin robot, so we went to AndyMark to buy a 2CAN 2.0 for the competition bot. However, they are out of stock and indicate that Cross the Road Electronics has discontinued them in favor a new design to come out in "early 2014." I checked directly with AndyMark and they don't expect to get any more in. I checked with CTRE and they also have none with no plans to make more.

Now we're stuck either using a low-performance serial interface or moving our one module between two robots, hoping nothing happens to it in the process. Does any team out there have a spare 2CAN module (v1 or 2) and would be willing to sell or trade it to us? I've even checked eBay with no success.

Alternatively, has anyone found an equivalent Ethernet-to-CAN adapter that we could use in its place?

We have 2 1.0 2CAN modules which we'd be willing to trade or sell. What did you have in mind? We'd send you both for a Talon, if that works.

We'll take them both. We have a meeting tonight. I'll talk with the other mentors about what we have to trade or a suggested price. I don't think we have any Talons, but I'll verify. We have a million Victors if that's of any interest. :)
