Are practice matches actually running at Midwest yet? The score ticker is running but there is no video of the field.

The Bayou Regional is currently at coderedrobotics.com/webcast

We have had problems in the past connecting with TBA. Hopefully those can be sorted out in the future.

It's really painful that we've had to deal with so many FMS and FTP problems this year.

I'd love to see how the SVR rankings are looking.

I might try to get pictures of the rankings after the last matches of the day.

That would be appreciated. Since the data reported on the rankings and the twitter are different, even with 100% complete twitter data we can't reconstruct the complete rankings because we won't know assist points.

At the Western Canadian Regional, match 50 is currently shown on the FMS twitter and FRC-Spy as a 0-0 tie. It was teams: 4334,2994,5115 vs. 1695,3216,4751

Auto score: 65-15
Teleop: 71-0
Foul: 70-0

Guess the score should have been 206-15. My only guess is maybe they need to replay it?

Congrats to all the people who help make the webcasts possible this year. The District webcasts were terrific this past weekend.

What was the best webcast of the season ?
Any tips on how to improve webcasts for next year ?

Anyone know when the District matches will be archived to youtube ?

Best webcast quality hands down goes to the PNW crew. Amazing HD Quality (1080p from what I heard! I couldn't tell on a 720p laptop.) I wish someone would really standardize casting and use the PNW Model....
Other than that, FiM always runs great webcasts, especially the full field fisheye twitch cast and the detroit public tv broadcast. I didn't watch NE or MAR all too much, but the NE one seemed alright, and the MAR was average.

I think the biggest improvements the webcasters can make is to have a dedicated team that's defined well before the event go through the logistics of getting a good quality cast set up. At a lot of events, webcasting is an afterthought, and this leads to bad quality coverage. Again, pushing the standardized casting system.

I also wish every regional and district did what FiM does, which is to archive every match played on youtube for convenient access. This is the next step to take once we all get webcasting down.

Team 1676 has published full-field footage of the Mount Olive, Clifton, and Bridgewater-Raritan MAR Districts on our YouTube Channel. It is also on The Blue Alliance. Videos from MAR Champs will be uploaded in the days to come.

Completely agree, PNW has outstanding webcast quality, and from what I've heard, they're all (or at least mostly) student-ran. When watching the MAR Champs webcast on Thursday, I was very disappointed with it. I can tell you that myself and some other MAR alumni were able to talk to MAR Chairman Mr. Gene O'Brien during MAR Champs, and after discussing what MAR does compared to other districts, it seems that webcasting/archiving for MAR will hopefully be improved for next season.

I like the FiM HD wide-angle view; however, it needs a live score on screen and audio from the MC's microphones.
