The MC microphone on feed #2 needs turned down. (Hub city)
1) The MC's voice is incredibly distorted.
2) The mic clearly pics up the nearby volunteers conversations. They are ripping on the teams playing pretty viciously.

feed #1 still has the 60 Hz hum in the audio.

Yeah, it might just be me but I'm still having trouble pulling up a webcast on thebluealliance.

Whoever is doing the Glacier Peak webcast deserves a medal. The video quality from that webcast must be 720p+ and it's streaming at 35+fps for the most part. At times the quality is better than the championships webcasts. All we're missing is a fisheye lens and they'd have the best webcast setup in the world.

Thanks! I'll pass your praise along to the rest of the video crew. The entire A/V production is being run by high school students from 2910, 1983 and 1318, including the A/V switching and technical direction. A lot of credit goes to Kevin Ross and the fine folks at FIRSTWA who helped get the equipment setup figured out and secured access to the high speed internet at all of the venues.

For reference, we are streaming 720p 30fps from a Matrox Monarch hardware encoder. Here's a picture of two of the equipment setup from Auburn Mountainview last weekend:

Is it possible to get the Crossroads Regional webcast on TBA GameDay?

I suggested the link via TBA, but here's the link again: http://client.stretchinternet.com/cl...itadmin.portal

If there's a way that you can get a direct link to the Flash stream from support, PM me and I'll add it.

Thanks! That means a lot to all of us. We saw this post earlier in the day and found it awesome to think that we are killing it out there. We ran into almost no technical difficulties throughout the day with ONLY STUDENTS on board. The job is a ton of fun and it's awesome that the people at home like what we are doing.

We were joking about getting my fisheye on a RED or a C300 for awesome wide shots of the field, but we have neither of those and no camcorder that we can think of out there is built with a fisheye lens. If you know of one I would love to hear about it.

Likewise, we really appreciate the compliments. I was the technical director for the event, and I was so happy to see us run so smoothly. Massive props for FIRSTWA for helping with all the networking required for the AV system, and thank you Glacier Peak High School for giving us a nice and open network so we could stream in perfect 720p.

I also want to commend the PNW districts for their amazing webcast quality. The fact that high school students can put on a much better live stream than NASA at some events is incredible.
