Break/Coast feature

Does anyone know how to program the jaguars to break using windriver I've searched up anything I could find about the break/Coast feature but I can't find out how to program it anywhere
Any help is appreciated, thank you

Re: Break/Coast feature

The brake/coast feature is on the speed controller. There should be small pins sticking out with a clip that plugs in the the brake or coast part of the controller. Refer to you speed controller's manual online to find where it is.

Re: Break/Coast feature

I normally prefer my speed controllers to brake, rather then break.

If you are using CAN on the jaguars, you can set brake/coast through the CANJaguar class. See CANJaguar::ConfigNeutralMode. Otherwise, like Kevin said, use the jumpers on the Jaguar.

On a Victor you can run a wire from the center of the three pins to a digital output. Switching the digital output will switch the Victor between brake and coast. I'm not sure if a Jaguar works the same way.
