Battery voltage will not display

SO we have our robot driving and shooting but we have a major problem. Using the KOP analogue breakout board the driver station only ever says that we have 00.00 Volts. We have tried other breakout boards and different computers as driver Stations but we just cant get it to work. Any suggestions will be helpful.

Have you placed the jumper on the board? Normally to display the voltage on the driver station a jumper is required on the 3 pins to the left.

We tried using last year's breakout with the jumper on it as well as this year's breakout with the "built-in" jumper with no luck.

Re: Battery voltage will not display

Check this:

1 - Is the analog module in the slot closest to the cRIO power connector?
2 - Is the jumper on the breakout board installed? (it is the outer 2 pins)
3 - Is there a wire to running from analog breakout board to the PDB?
4 - Did you put a fuse in the PDB?

If it still does not work...

5 - Do any other channels on the analog module work? Perhaps the breakout module is kaput?
6 - Can you check the voltages on the breakout board? Is the "Power Good" LED on the breakout board lit up? Perhaps the breakout board is broken. It has some active circuitry on it.

Good luck!

Do you have 12v from the Power Distribution Panel wired directly to the Analog Breakout?

Is the power light on the Analog Breakout on?

Is the module in the cRIO Slot 1?

Is the module labeled "NI 9201"?

The module is closest to the power connector, the jumper is on the outer two pins, we do have a wire running from the breakout board to the PDB, and we do have a fuse.

The analog module works, we tested it, and we checked the voltages.

We double checked everything, but it still does not work, we are clueless to why it does not work.

Can you take pictures of everything?

Fixed problem. Flipped terminals on WAGO. *facepalm*

That's why we always ask to see pictures.

The analog breakout has reverse voltage protection - it should have survived.

That's one part that ain't so poorly designed as to blow up on reverse polarity :D :D :D :D :D

Was the power light on the Analog Breakout on with the flipped terminals?
