Where did you guys get the digital pressure gauge?

Re: 1986 Team Titanium 2014 Reveal
amazing machine guys! looking forward to competing with you at CIR this week. best of luck to you guys!

Re: 1986 Team Titanium 2014 Reveal
I want to know how you guys implemented range finding. Coming from an Aviation themed High School, VASI certainly came to mind as a possible method.

Re: 1986 Team Titanium 2014 Reveal
HBR is very much looking forward to playing with Titanium at CIR. See you at the end of the week.

Re: 1986 Team Titanium 2014 Reveal
This looks totally excellent, unique and at the same time, so very 1986. This is a robot I could see on Einstein. Also a great video. I am psyched about the ultrasonic ranging being communicated via LEDs on the robot. Very cool.

Re: 1986 Team Titanium 2014 Reveal
Fantastic robot once again! Glad we got a chance to talk and see it in person at the scrimmage.
See you at Greater Kansas City! We're hoping you bring a wild card again this year. |

Love that bar that flips down to hold the extra ball in auto. One of those brilliant little mechanical things that makes 1986 so, so good.

Re: 1986 Team Titanium 2014 Reveal
Simply awesome. Can't wait to play with you guys next weekend at CIL.

Re: 1986 Team Titanium 2014 Reveal
I never thought I would say it. But between this and spectrum, I think mecanum wheels have a good chance of being on Einstein this year.

Re: 1986 Team Titanium 2014 Reveal
We might have to revise it to mecanum wheels have never touched einsteins carpet

Re: 1986 Team Titanium 2014 Reveal
This was everything I hoped it would be. Amazing looking machine. From all of the different subtle capabilities shown here, it would appear that your team has been working very smart and very hard this season.

We designed ours to be a reliable scorer when needed obviously (hot goal auton being the major focus), but the ability to feed others (and in multiple robot friendly ways) was a huge priority. Little dump passes, lofting truss passes, long distance outlet passes, and quick reverse intake roll passes are all in our toolbox we can dive into for racking up assists. Hopefully, we'll get the chance to toss that large ball around together this week. :) |

Great video and robot, 1986. It's been real fun to see your team improve over the years. I'm looking forward to seeing it in person later this week. |
Re: 1986 Team Titanium 2014 Reveal
Great Bot guys. But I didn't see the angry eyes.
The digital air pressure gauges are great, we have a pair on SIDEWINDER this year. |

[QUOTE= The robot looks like its scowling at you when running around.
I told them it would be a crime not to put an eye in their top roller and dinosaur teeth along the curves. It Really looks like some kind of animal. |
Re: 1986 Team Titanium 2014 Reveal
Nice bot! I can tell you guys put a lot of work into it to make it work so smooth. I noticed a few frames of rough top in the video, what do you guys use that for?
Can't wait to see you at KC :) |
