Easy way to turn off radio on router?
Our area had a Week 0 scrimmage a week ago and had a number of radio issues. Running WiFi in school cafeteria with the other associated WiFi noise and the interference from the other robots on the floor can cause many issues.
Is there a simple way to tell a router to turn off it's radio? This can be done but it requires that you go in via the web interface and change the configuration. This would go a long way to clean up the radio noise. Thanks |

Not really. Maybe you could make a Faraday cage around the AP?

One way that I have found to reduce the WiFi interference is to run your robot radio under a hidden network. When you run the radio in AP mode for practice, it broadcasts an SSID (your team number) that allows other devices such as smartphones and computers to get information about the network. Hiding the SSID makes it so that you have to know the SSID in order to see and connect to the network.
