Intentionally outbounding autonomous balls?
Is there anything stopping teams from intentionally shooting any remaining autonomous balls over the side to get their first teleop cycle started quicker? (Other than losing a scoring opportunity, of course.) I've seen it done accidentally a few times in the Alamo webcast, but I'm not sure if there was a consequence.

Ah, yes. I didn't see any foul points given, though if it's accidental, they wouldn't have been applicable. Thanks for the quick answer!

Re: Intentionally outbounding autonomous balls?
Don't know the rule number but if a ball is thrown out by a bot then it is put back in as a auton ball. In other words, no truss or pass point possible until all three auton balls are scored or declared dead.

You can just opt to have your teams ball not included in Auton'

Teams, don't be stupid! Often, winning the match is just as easy as not wasting half the match picking up your missed auto balls and just doing three assist 1pt cycles instead. Don't test your autonomous on the comp field. There's a practice field for a reason. |

To be completely fair though if you can get mobility points you can score a low goal in auton'
