Legal Motor?
 
Is this a legal motor? http://i.imgur.com/3caUQZR.jpg This motor is used in FTC, but the FRC rules don't list it. Thanks!

No. Those motors are not legal in FRC. If they are not on the legal list, they are not legal.

No, It is not listed in 4.7, R29, so therefore it is not legal.

im fairly certain that i speak for everyone that used them in 2011 that that's the most hated moter in frc history

From an FTC standpoint they are okay. Not great but okay.

And corresponding gear boxes, because a motor running at over 10,000 rpm isn't very helpful.
