ATTENTION ALL TEAMS:

We are going to be switching things up a bit. In the honor of alumni putting this event together, mentors and alumni may take over as drivers during qualification matches. However, students must be operating and driving during eliminations.

That being said, we are still looking for more teams.

We need 3 more teams to keep the event going!!
We can only accept 17 more positions!!

This was a fantastic event. Very laid back and enjoyable. The 2v2 matches were a pleasant change of pace. Thanks to Eric, Howard, and all the volunteers that made it happen. 10/10 would go again.

Also that thanks to our partners 25 and 1880. You guys were both great and fun to work with. Hopefully we'll get to see more of 1880 in the future, they're a great crew.

If this event is held again in the future, I strongly suggest creating a website, even if nobody can make a professional one. My team and I found it very hard to keep up to date with events leading up to the competition. In addition, in my opinion, there was not an ample amount of details about the competition: where specifically the competition is being held, the deadline for registration, etc. This was one of the reasons my team decided to drop out at the very last minute.

However, it was the first year this competition was run and I am glad to hear everyone had a good time! I hope to attend next year!

Echoing these thoughts, one of the reasons 2791 didn't sign up for and attend this event is because we couldn't find any information about it anywhere. The only reason I knew it existed was because of the off season events spreadsheet, and from there I couldn't direct anyone to any kind of information about the event.

Another thing that made this event hard to find is that the thread about it is in general Forum not the Off-Season Event Forum. That being said this was a very fun and laid back event. The 2v2 was different and actually worked well for us. Sorry to our elimination alliance mates 369 and 75 for dying during the finals.

Do you happen to have any photos or videos from the event that you are planning on posting anywhere? Hope to be there next year.
