Everytime we travel out of state for a regional, we always bring the cold weather. Sorry :o

We always HAVE cold weather. It's something we're far too used to.

You call this cold? Plenty warm compared to February.

You didn't bring it, unless you showed up sometime in mid-November! This has been one heck of a winter, to be sure--though this weekend is showing signs of vaguely spring-like behavior.

I'm one of those annoyingly scientific types who doesn't believe that one's internet comments will affect the weather. :D

Is it just me or is the frame rate of the webcast making the video skip around?

They are broadcasting the practice rounds. Not that they are exciting but it would make my day much better. Good luck 1493 I will be watching all weekend from my classroom and home.

If anyone has any contact with the people running the FLR stream, please contact them and tell them to fix the stream video. It is constantly freezing and then jumping forward. This is almost impossible to watch.

Turns out I won't be able to make it this year. Watching LIVE on the broadcast though and looks to be a phenomenal competition. Good Luck Teams. Extra Good Luck to 229, 20 and 1126. Go for the Repeat!

Oh and from a Chuckster, HI DAISY! That's an awesome bot you have this year.

:yikes:

EDIT: Wooops, my bad. 229 is going to Chesapeake. Good luck to 5240!

GRR is astounding--I never would have predicted it after watching Tech Valley, and it speaks to what great minds and inhuman persistence can accomplish.

And oh, there are a lot of really good robots here. It's fun to watch even if we're not quite one of them!

Congrats to the top eight seeded teams. Great job played by all! On to the elimination rounds! Going to be some good good matches. My money is on Warlocks and the Rocketeers.

:D

PS: The music this year has been fantastic! Zelda at NYTV and Star Wars at FLR... my inner geek is so happy.
