Great video! I love how your intake moves down while you shoot as opposed to before. That is one thing I havn't seen yet this year.

Believe me they have a very good machine and i expect them to do well
at Chesapeake. We practiced with them before Richmond and played against them at Richmond.
Luckly we didn't have to face them in the finals.

Props to our software team. They did a ton of last minute software development on our practice bot the week before the regional. They tweaked and tweaked the timing of the pickup arm move and catapult arm firing to get things perfectly synced. When we got to the regional, they loaded their new code in the competition bot. We set up for 2 ball auto in our first practice match, expecting it to goof up in some way, like it always does for your first few practice matches. We were delighted when it performed perfectly.

We were able to take 3/4 of a second off of the beginning of the shot series dropping it to 1/4 second before firing the catapult after the arm starts to move. We wanted to lower the delay between the shoot button being pressed and the ball leaving the robot as much as possible. In total we shaved almost 2 seconds off of the entire shoot series from what we originally had before the tuning. Well worth it and I highly suggest it to any teams that have a long shot series to trim it down as much as possible.
