The Official State Rankings are in the FiM website. The final rankings after this weekends events will be posted sometime soon.

Argh you guys were an absolute blast to play with at Howell, quite the shame.

It's awesome to see 7 Rookie teams advancing on, compared to zero last year...

We've just been informed at least one team has declined their invite, and as such we have qualified!

Congrats! You guys are definitely one of the top 64 teams in MI and deserve to be at MSC!

Awesome! I'm so glad you guys can make it. I, as drive coach of 2771, had an absolute blast working with you at Lansing and am looking forward to doing so again at MSC.

Re: Michigan State Championship

What's so amazing is that there are like 30-40 teams that are good enough to be at least 1st picks and many of them won't even be in eliminations.
I think this year MSC champs might actually be pretty close to IRI in competitiveness.
I really look forward to compete with so many great teams.

Congrats! You guys were a blast to play alongside at Howell, and it wouldn't be the same without y'all!

I'm surprised we qualified (my college roommate and I had predicted 80 points would be the cutoff), but the surprise was definitely a pleasant one. That said the level of competition will be absolutely brutal D:

Still, it's a chance to pick up one more spirit award this year. Can't wait to cheer with you all :)

I think this year 7 and 8 seed captains will have an advantage because of how many great teams there are. There are so many teams at the top level.

Here's my risky predictions coming from a FIRSTer from NY who's not completely tuned into the Michigan scene. Based on the game, I decided a really good, smart team would seed on top, but not the ones everyone expects. They'd then pick 67 because 67 is incredible.

The whole list is hard because any of these teams could win most other regionals on their own. I tried to put robots that sort-of fit together together (like 469- an amazing trusser and 33- an awesome power forward). I also thought you'd see a rookie alliance captain- so I chose 4967, my pick for the rookie all-star award for MiCMP this year.

If any of this actually happens, I'd be very surprised. :)
