2992 is extremely excited to return to Bayou after going to our first out-of-state regional in Arkansas. Though it's already been said in this thread, Bayou is our home and we can't wait to get back to the Pontchartrain Center for the largest Bayou yet. See you guys there!

We are very excited to say that we are indeed finally going to Bayou! We've heard great things about the regional and can't wait to meet some teams we don't always get to see in the Peachtree/Palmetto circuit. :)

Even for us, we always go out and get a nice meal somewhere in New Orleans. The homecooked cajun food is always a hit for those from out of town (our favorite is Mr. Ed's, about 15 minutes from the venue). The parade sure is unique and always opens up the day on a good note. Beyond that, the Pontchartrain Center is a wonderful place for an FRC event.

Can't wait to see everyone!!! Good luck teams!!!

Hmmm..

We have never been to Mr Eds... When do y'all go?

Team Driven 1730 students just loaded the bus in a downpour of rain, but that didn't dampen their spirits as they are excited to head to the Bayou Regional. See you all in 14 hours.

Does anyone know if there will be a webcast for those unlucky persons who could not make the drive down? :o

NASA isn't listing any webcasts yet.

The Blue Alliance GameDay lists a stream from Code Red Robotics.

Here's the direct link to the USTREAM. It is up and running. It is not the same link as currently referenced on The Blue Alliance GameDay.

Thursday has been an interesting day of helping others so they can compete tomorrow. We have enjoyed making new friends and trying to help those who need it. The weather is great today. Hope tomorrow goes well.

I see 1912 is sponsoring the live stream. Will you guys be uploading individual matches to youtube at a later point? If not, can I talk to you guys about bringing over an XHDD or something to transfer any official footage you guys have on hand? I like editing in the live match scores and alternate camera angles when we compile and post our own videos.

Thanks for the link! Thanks to 1912 and 2771 for the great broadcast! I wish I could be down there for such an exciting regional.

Re: Bayou Regional

It has been a great regional so far! I would like to be the first to congratulate our own mentor, Mr. Allen Sorrell, on winning Volunteer of the Year. He has been an instrumental part of our team, the region and the Bayou regional itself. We couldn't be more proud of everything he has accomplished and couldn't be more thankful for everything he does for our team.

I would also like to congratulate Mrs. Shelly Gaydos and are great friends over at 2080 on her WFA win. There was nobody more deserving then her for the award knowing how much she does from the team from being the teacher sponsor to lead mentor.

Congrats to everyone who took home trophies and we look forward to another day of competition!

Big thanks to 3937 Breakaway and 3616 Phenomena. You guys were great partners and it was apparent from the beginning.

Congratulations to 2080 Torbotics on winning chairmans. The amount of hard work and hours you guys put in is incredible.

364 is very excited to take our trip to nationals for the first time since 2011. We hope to see some of you there!
