Adopt-a-volunteer

Hey everyone! I'm currently looking for any teams in western NY(specifically the Rochester area) that would be willing to adopt a volunteer for travel purposed to St. Louis this year. I'll be reaching out to some team contacts individually, but I figured this could reach a wider audience.

I already have a place to stay, but I'm looking for a relatively inexpensive way to get there, and I just love traveling with teams!

Anyway, if you or your team are willing to help me out, send me a PM. I'd greatly appreciate it!

They really do! I know this (not having a specific team or people to room with) is essentially what's kept me from volunteering at Championships since it's moved to STL.

I could have sworn some one was trying to design something like that previously.
Often when I travel I have two bed in my room and I just use the unused bed as a catch all for my dirty clothes when it could have been put to use for someone who needs a place to stay.

+1. Or to post that you have an extra bed/room at CMP

I second this.... I've been pretty successful in the past, but I just haven't had the time to put into searching this year. I haven't heard back from anyone yet, so if you know anyone that hasn't booked travel plans yet, let me know!
