Volunteer Championship lodging

Good evening all!

I'm a volunteer planning to attend St. Louis in a few weeks. Another volunteer and I have openings in our hotel room that we're looking to share. As much as I love having a bed to myself, the room is about $500 for the weekend, so the more ways we split it, the cheaper it'll be for everyone.

I know it's a little bit last minute, but if you're interested, send me a message and we'll go from there.

Hi everyone!

I also have a room reservation at the Drury Plaza at the Arch for Tuesday through Sunday (I'm flying home on Monday), and am looking to see if anyone wants to share it with me.

The room is $180/night, but it includes a full breakfast and a complimentary happy hour (with 1 alcoholic drink if you're over 21). I stayed here in 2011, and my parents have stayed here every year since, it's a great hotel, really well-kept, and the staff is a pleasure about all kinds of needs.

I'm happy to split it with 1-3 additional people (so 4 people in the room max).

The hotel's about 1/2 a mile from the Edward Jones Dome, but you can walk a block and take the Downtown Trolley to about 500ft from the venue's front door. The trolley is $2 one way, or you can do buy a weekly Metro ticket (which the trolley also accepts) for $25 and thusly travel places other than our hotel.

Fletch, if you wanted to consider moving to my room, you & your other volunteer friend are more than welcome.

Anyone else who might be interested PM me!

So, from a little basic facebook creeping, I've discovered that you've already been talking with Jessica K(the other volunteer I was planning to room with). The $180/night is a bit higher than her hotel, so for monetary reasons, I think hers is a better option. I'm still working on travel arrangements, so there's a chance I might need a place to stay Tuesday night, so I'll let you know when I figure that out.
