OP delivered on the puppies. +1

Terrific event! better then last years. Loved the lighting and the mentor matches. Congrats to 225 for sweeping the competition again!

MKM 2014 was an awesome event! 4454 had a lot of fun!

Congrats to the alliance of 25, 225, 1626 and 329 for winning it all. You guys were awesome, and the finals matches were some of the best I've seen!

11, 193, 369 and 4954; it was fun playing against you guys. That 11/193 combo is a tough one to beat, hope to see it again before next season.

1923, 2590, 2607; it was a lot of fun playing with you guys. Apologies for that Q-3 match, we had one of those "one in a thousand" things happen, one of the contacts in the anderson connector on the battery slipped out halfway and was intermittent (and only died on the field).

We'll see everyone next year!

I'm finally somewhat lucid after a 14-hour train ride and a day of work, but I am seriously glad that I came up to MKM. It was a lot of fun to catch up with old MAR (and close-enough-to-MAR) friends on their home turf, see some robots we don't see down south, and just see some hard-nosed friendly competition!

Congrats to all eight teams involved in the finals on a heck of a fight, and to all 32 teams for keeping them running to make 4-team alliances happen. (I know from experience that this is not a given at off-season events!) The Mayhem Ball was a great touch too--just enough of a touch to make teams switch strategies without really breaking the game. Oh, and thanks to 225 for the box of pneumatics for everyone.

Hopefully, I can sway enough 4901ers to make a run up there next year. It's worth 14 hours on the train for sure! :)

I drove a lot. It was fun to watch. I lived my dream as a human player. Learned a lot. May play along next year, or maybe not. See you cool MAR cats at Brunswick Eruption.

You were quite the human player. Pegging the ball from the HP station at the Mayhem Ball to knock it off was A+ work

I understand completely. 2607 has been no stranger to incredibly rare, and incredibly unfortunate, failures. (We sat dead-on-the-field during our first qualifier at MAR Champs last year due to a bad cRIO boot, and at Hatboro Horsham this year we were doing quite well until we essentially lost our drivetrain due to a Jaguar failue.) I could not have wished for a better event, though. It was a lot of fun!

So everyone who was at MKM 2014 probably remembers the highlight reel that was shown right before alliance selection. This is something of a tradition we have started, the challenge is to record footage of all competing robots the day of the competition, edit it together to music and make it look good. Then show it so that all of the teams have a fresh perspective of which robot is which. This is somewhat of a daunting tasks, but our video guys know their stuff and have yet to miss the mark! The link is below, would love to hear what you guys think!

Thank you so much for posting Jeff! Nick and Andy (our video crew) rocked HARD on this highlight reel and I'm so glad it's up and online for people to view. :)

Those midknight highlight reels are an astounding tradition at MKM. The first time I saw one - at the first MKM IIRC - it was jaw-dropping that they got all that together so quickly. And yes, it was actually quite good, so much more than just a random mash of robot clips.

Don't take my word for it. Go see this year's video, link above...
