Re: Multi-Ball Autonomous Club

3824 and 2393 both had excellent 2 ball autonomous routines at Smoky Mountains this year! It was really unfortunate that 2393 was unable to qualify for championships this year as they built a very interesting and pretty different robot this year and managed to seed first at SMR. I am sure 3824 will have perfected their already great 2 ball by championships this year!

Florida's 2 ball club:
86
179 (2 hot)
180
744
801
1065
1251 (2 hot)
1523 (Only used in 1 match)
1592

I suspect 233 and 79 will have it for champs.

(I ask because at the current rate of improvement of our intake. We should have a two ball auto by CMP.)

We did one at Finger Lakes, although they weren't both in the top goal. We just ran our normal top goal routine, but placed a second ball in front of our robot (partner started in the goalie zone). Bulldoze one ball into low goal, score other ball into top goal. Probably not what you were looking for, but I guess it still counts.

Re: Multi-Ball Autonomous Club

From what i can remember at South Florida besides my own team mentioned above we had:

180

744

1065

1251

Ignore the Audio there is a slight delay in the video but all of them made it in, in the 10 seconds

I would love to see video of these teams making the 2 ball because I honestly don't remember seeing it but would love to be wrong.

And 233 might have it IF they somehow make it to champs as they didn't qualify

Re: Multi-Ball Autonomous Club

MisCar 1574 have done 2 balls autonomous.
after the competition we've upgrade it to 2 balls autonomous with hot goal.

I didn't mean to make it sound like I wan't impressed. Still a first year team doing that to me is somewhat more so.

Not silly at all. In fact a very good idea too as you still scored a fair amount of points. I like teams that take on programming challenges such as that in their first year.

This definitely counts for something. In fact it was my backup plan in case we encountered a team that had no auto and the programming of the 2-high goal auto wasn't working quite right. Nice thinking.

696 here! 3 ball auto done in practice, but only 2 ball used in competition.

Some nominations I haven't seen yet:

193 just developed one today at MAR Champs and 368 had one at Hawaii and Silicon Valley

Team 4334 missed 1/2 twice in Calgary (out of 13 matches - all with two ball).

MOE 365 has a 2 ball routine.

At MAR CMP today they ran a practice match where every robot started with 2 balls, when teleop started there were only 3 loose balls.

1646 has a two ball autonomous. (1 hot, 1 not)

4039 was doing a pretty cool 2 ball auto at NYNY
