Where are you getting the Assist OPR from? Because the only "Assist OPR" that I've seen is from the Google Doc that Allen Gregory posted for Newton and his are way different.

The ones in the spreadsheet are the Assist OPR from the event where the team had their highest overall OPR (from 1114's database). For the few teams I just looked at they seem to match Navid's but maybe he is using MaxAPR directly and that would be different for some teams.

But seriously, how fun would it be to hear that alliance announced?

Plus, we'd probably win the whole thing...

As long as you grab 3260 for your third pick ;)

I finished it in quite a hurry. I should be able to check it over soon, when I get back to a computer.

I used Max Event OPR to do the win loss calculations and Max Assist OPR to sort teams with the same QS.

What would be the difference between Max APR and Highest Event APR?

Not sure, but it may be their highest APR was not necessarily at the event where they achieved their highest OPR.

Yes, I took the two stats separately. My stats match 1114's database.

I took team's Max OPR and Max Assist separately, that's the only difference.

Allen, I think you might have Truss and Catch and Assist OPRs reversed.

That might be the problem.

I'm pretty sure they were right at some point, anyone can edit it so I didn't notice it changed. (or possibly didn't notice it was labeled wrong the whole time). Ether way it's fixed now.

Newton 2014 - Collaborative Pre-Scouting Database

Teams try to add your information to the Google Doc for Columns I-T.

There is a glossary on the second sheet.

Why do people change other teams stats.

Match 33! See you there! :D

(and we were wondering how you came up with our robot ;) )

Very good questions, I don't have that answer, there are locked copies of the data in the other tabs. It's a good system when it works but it definitely isn't perfect. I hope most of the edits are mistakes and not vandalism but I'm not sure.

I agree, this is good info for all on Newton. Where are the locked copies ?
