foul free club

After 45 matches of the 2014 game team 1511 rolling thunder never received a single foul. This seems quite rare this year. Did any other teams escape 2014 clean?

Being foul free as a team is meaningless in terms of match outcome when another team on your alliance gets game changing fouls...;)

Well, our human player never incurred G40, does that almost count?

Because, we did manage some G28s, and we accidentally caught a truss shot for a G12.

We never had any fouls against us but we had one alliance partner who had a G28 called against them

I dunno, are we counting week one events?

Week one should probably be excluded, simply because of insane everything was at the begninning of the season.

We had 2 drivers (myself and BEN35678) who would hand off between the 2 regionals as 1st and 2nd driver. Ben was completely clean except for a ball that bounced off the wall and into our robot (technical foul), while I did not receive any penalties. Our human player was also 100% foul free.

I understand this. We lost 2 matches and tied 1 match this year because our partners committed fouls. You can only control your own team/destiny in regards to getting fouls though.

We managed to get away with no fouls through two regionals and champs despite the fact that our strategy relied entirely on our human player. Shout out to Tucker - best human player ever. :)

Or when you are playing the game and get fouls called on you when a poorly built robot hits you and breaks. Or when there's a completely subjective definition of trapping...

Can you tell I'm still mad at how bad the rules for this game were?

^^ I did not intend for this to become another post about rules.

Re: foul free club

Got 2 'bot over the edge' fouls in DC since we were pushed
Got 1 'opponent ball possession' foul in Chesapeake due to a freak landing of a truss shot + bounce
Got 0 fouls at champs.

So no fouls that we had any control over.

1712 played 39 matches before incurring our first foul, including 14 matches during week 1. Unfortunately, between match 40 and 46 we accumulated 180 foul points.

Team 3044 was able to it through 36 matches (two regionals) with no fouls

Re: foul free club

3175 was foul free at *gasp* Centerline, and we were foul free until Q48 at Bedford, where we caught an opposing truss shot, SF 2-3 (bad pinning call), and Q127 at MSC, where we once again caught a ball, but it was due to us jarring a shot loose. So, we were close, I'd say.

No G40s
No G27/28 (although we played heavy defense)
2 G12 (20 pt)
1 Pinning (can't remember the g number)
