I know this isn't really my business- but I just wanted to point out that shipping a flag from the rescue location to your address above (assuming it is relatively light and a few feet long) would cost about $150 US or 518.28 Israeli New Sheqel. I think that may be a little too much to ask someone to do for free! Perhaps your team could arrange to help brogan22orange so he doesn't have to pay that to return your flag. I would offer to chip in- but can't afford that at the moment.

Yeah that might be a fun game…but ask Lauren or the other MC Assistants…those tireless troops who handle all the flags and Swag for the MC's…they'll tell you it would be way better to have Team number on each flag/pole.
Thanks for the mystery= solved. Brogan

Re: Rescued TEAM Flags Left at Championship

Yeah I had gathered all the flags from all 5 fields and placed them out on the red carpet there nearish Einstein… had some good connections giving out quite a few.
But then later, after packing up a few fields…I notice this leftover group..some really nice ones..
The various venue folks just said well we can do anything..no lost and found..just toss 'em…
Well heck that didn't sit too well with me so I quickly disassembled these and packed them up….yeah had to ditch the poles…?? Carry on Baggage…ah no no sir…So looks like many have found me…or me sleuthing out them…internet/ Facebook so handy!.
Thanks for the comment/ support. See you on the next field.

Hey thanks for thinking of me and thanking me. I will take a look at just how much this is costing…happy to to it…such a great bunch of Teams. I did remove most of the poles thus fairly small packages…however yeah I have heard pretty pricey to Europe…Brogan from Seattle

You'll see me again next year, the team I'm now a mentor with already has their hotel booked and plane tickets will be bought for mentors over summer. So best of luck in 2015, see you in St Louis!! (and I'd so buy one of your shirts or jumpsuits that I see on your website)

A folded flag weighs about 3 pounds and can fit into a flat-rate box; I am sure it would cost less than half that.

Nonetheless, I think ANY team wanting their flag back should pay for the shipping; Brogan was kind enough to rescue it, don't expect him to pay to send it back to you too.

This is definitely Neutrino's flag. I will send this thread to our lead mentor and hopefully he will get in contact with you.

EDIT: Also sent you and our mentor a collective message on Facebook.

Thanks!
Trent

Re: Rescued TEAM Flags Left at Championship

384 is Sparky (Tucker High School) from Richmond, Va. Its not surprising the flag got left behind as we (1610) were supposed to share a bus with them and 5 hours before we were to leave the bus company cancelled on us. Both teams had to scramble to find a way to St. Louis. I can try and contact Mr Clarke from Sparky about it.

I've contacted one of the senior mentors for 384 about it and hope to hear from them soon.
