Re: 2014 Ozark Mountain Brawl
Team Driven enjoyed coming for the fun. We thank you for your hospitality and had a great time at the social on Friday night. The weather was good, the music was great and the interaction between teams was enjoyable to see. I hope the rookie teams got some inspirations from the veterans. We hope to see those that can come this fall to the Cowtown Throwdown (Oct. 31 & Nov. 1) We enjoy having different teams come and experience our section of the country. We hope the weather is good and the spirits are high.

Team 6001 - Rocky Balboabots wish to graciously thank everyone who helped us with assistance, advice, support and encouragement. We were humbled by the support of all of the teams in attendance at the event. As a mentor of a brand new team, I can think of nothing better than watching the student's faces as the crowd cheered them on in the finals.
A thank you to the outstanding teams 1986 Team Titanium & 1730 Team Driven for working with our team as equals - you have no idea how that impacted our students. We are grateful for the opportunity to compete side by side with you. A very special thank you to Team 16 Baxter Bomb Squad for continuing assistance and advice as we worked to build a team that could attend and compete at the 2014 Ozark Mountain Brawl. |
Re: 2014 Ozark Mountain Brawl
Sorry if this post seams a little late, but catching up on college papers will do that too you. I firstly want to express the amazing gratitude from all of our team to the University of Arkansas Engineering Department for all of their hard work for this event. It was really well ran and the accommodations along with the price was absolutely fantastic. I would more than recommend any team to attend this event in the future. Second off I want to thank team 3481 for being such a great pit partner. Our team packed extremely light and you all were there to help us out every time, even after our teams beat the snot out of each other ;) . Finally, I would like to thank our alliance partners teams 359 and 16. I know you all had no choice on the pick, but our team still appreciated how you all still let us have an opinion in how we were going to play the games out and I really can't quantify the experience our students and myself gained by working with you all during the elimination rounds. Thanks again for carrying us to our first ever FRC event win, and I hope we all can play together again in the future.
Also if anyone is interested in watching any of the matches from the event, you can catch them here: http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/50560878 I have already highlighted the finals matches and I will try to finish the elimination matches sometime this week. |
