New England Off-Season Events

Hey fellow NE FIRSTers!
New England has an amazing 8 offseason events! I was wondering who I'd be seeing at some of them! There's:
May 17 - CT State Championships - Killingworth, CT (Open to CT Teams Only)
May 24-25 - Battle Cry @ WPI - Worcester, MA
May 31 - Mayhem in Merrimack - Merrimack, NH
June 14 - Where's Wolcott - Wolcott, CT
June 28 - Beantown Blitz - Boston, MA
September 20 - Mainely Spirit - Oakland, ME
October 4 - Bash at the Beach - Old Lyme, CT
Late October (Historically) - River Rage - Goffstown, NH

New England offseasons are always a blast! Personally, I'll most likely be at Battlecry, Mayhem in Merrimack, Beantown Blitz, Mainely Spirit, and River Rage. Can't wait to see some of you there!

Re: New England Off-Season Events

Well I was looking forward to making it to Beantown Blitz for the first time since 2010 as vacation has always fallen on that weekend and this year we pushed it back and guess what, Blitz was pushed back to the same week! :p

Oh well maybe next year!

I'll be at BattleCry, Mayhem in Merrimack, Mainely Spirit, and River Rage. 3467 may be at some/all of them potentially but all we have confirmed is Battlecry and we've typically done River Rage.

May 24-25 - Battle Cry @ WPI - Worcester, MA — Maybe Saturday.
May 31 - Mayhem in Merrimack - Merrimack, NH — Probably going to stop in, it's just up the street.
June 28 - Beantown Blitz - Boston, MA — I'll be there.
September 20 - Mainely Spirit - Oakland, ME — Trying to be there
Late October (Historically) - River Rage - Goffstown, NH — I can't plan this far in advance

I have no idea what events 125 will be sending the bot to. It'd prolly be a safe bet to say Beantown... but other than that, idk.

Re: New England Off-Season Events

Perhaps someone here might help me. I'm interested in volunteering for the Beantown Blitz. At the Nutrons suggestion I sent an email to the blitz g-mail account, and another in early April, but have yet to receive a response. I can understand the likely choice to prioritize a good effort during competition but I'm hesitant to send a third email. Has anyone ever volunteered or know someone who has volunteered for this event?

Send a message to Brandon Holley here on CD, he should be able to help you.

After regretably having to pass on St. Louis, we are looking forward to getting back into the game and meeting all you super teams and people again:

Aluminum Falcons will be at CT Champs, and BattleCry (Why would anyone miss this?), then either WIWI or Blitz (TBD), and then Bash@theBeach in the fall.

I'll be in Cambridge during June and July.

If I had that weekend off I'd love to volunteer or watch Beantown Blitz, but I think I'll be busy that day sadly..

We're currently still figuring things out but I think we intend to be at either Battlecry or Beantown this spring. We've missed playing with some of our good friends in New England!

And we have missed Shaker! Hopefully they work out how to have visitors in the District model. Albany is closer to NE than most of New York State. And It's also not fair that we can't have anyone from England in New England, isn't it?

Agreed. While I loved the District events this year I really missed seeing the NY teams and friends from further away.

Aluminum Falcons decided to go to WIWI this year, assuming there is room. Looking forward to meeting up with all of the great CT teams again.

I've been told that Bash @the Beach will be held on October 18, not October 4 this year due to the Jewish holidays.

OzRam will be going to Mayhem and RiverRage as well as a demo at Techfest in Windham.

I am hoping we will be able to go to Beantown Blitz this year if we can find details. Are there still openings? What is the cost? The Nutron's website has very little info.

716 will be at WiWi. Not sure about the fall but River Rage would be cool. TBD

I can't remember what the cost is but the sign up is http://nutrons.com/beantownBlitz.html#signup. An email will get sent to your mentor including the cost.

Also, 4555 looking forward to Beantown Blitz and Mainely Spirit! (and hopefully River Rage as well!)
