57 inches, without a blocker. Got to love pit scouting, you have to know these kinds of things.

The height lowered to approximately 56 inches when it was in operation. It was only that tall in the starting configuration.

Team 1710 was a static 8ft 6in, the tallest robot in FRC history that didn't change height.

:yikes: Woah, that's a cool tidbit of info. I was almost positive I could think of a taller one, but it seems I can't. I saw you guys at Newton, definitely the best a pure goalie bot can get, congrats on EI!

And I assume the times when the goalie arm went timber didn't count as "changing height." ::ouch::

During quarter finals on Archimedes 2056 tipped slightly and got stuck on the truss. Does that count for anything?

Yeah, that was a major problem for us this year, ultimatley we kept the arm on for the last four matches at Newton. Do to the amount of Tech Fouls we recieved this year from the arm falling, our team has (jokingly) created a new rule, G1710, which states that if you are team 1710 on Newton field you will recieve a tech foul upon entering the field. That being said, 1710 turned some heads this year and that's something we're proud of.[/quote]
