If only we can have such video of all the regional stored online so everyone can download them and watch the games... that will be great. I know there are the NASA broadcast ones, but still... we are missing some of the most important regional over here at west coast. |

Posted by Ken Leung on 02/24/2001 8:02 AM EST: I can make the videos at school in no time... but the problem is having a place to store them online. My geocities account basically stopped working... and at 5 megs a video, not many free servers allow more than one or 2 videos. If someone can provide some webspace where i can upload to it would be great. Posted by Tom S. on 02/24/2001 9:07 AM EST: Given the time, I can open up a ftp for people to store videos. As long as people are willing to make the video, I will have enough hard drive space and internet connection to allow people to share those video files online. And I am talking about at least 14GB of hard drive space and 10mbit/s internet connection. |

SOAP

Engineer on team #111, Wildstang, from Rolling Meadows & Wheeling and Motorola. In Reply to: if only... Posted by Ken Leung on 02/24/2001 8:02 AM EST: I know SOAP will have videos of many of the regionals in their database (which will be travelling to KSC, mini version at Western MI, IL, & Nat). The videos will be searchable by match # or team #. I don't know if Kenny will make the videos available online, or only at the competitions. Since I'm the leader of the WASH team, not the SOAP team, you'll have to ask Kenny about online videos. But he probably won't be around today since he's busy putting the finishing touches on SOAP. |

So we had this strategy before we came to teh competition, and when it was our turn we just told the other bots what to do and they did it. it took a few minutes to get them to really understand how our strategy works.
