PNEUMATICS
Posted by Brian Papile at 02/23/2001 9:08 PM EST
Student on team #69, HYPER, from Quincy Public Schools and The Gillette Company. I think this year is the year pneumatics. A lot of people seem to be using pneumatics for many and the same uses. I was wondering what teams that are going to UTC and or Florida use and dont use pneumatics. Just wondering. Good luck all!!! Brian A.K.A. PAPPY |

PAPPY we actually had a whole pneumatic system to lift the bridge. but apparently when we brought it to the quincy scrimmage, we found out that it wasnt enough power (even though it could life a battery) to push the bridge up). So we had to remove a week's worth of work and put it in a bin :( for a major redesign. Sucks eh? on the other hand, i've always wanted to make a choo choo train with our pneumatics. -anton |
