Our apologies to viewers of the livestream, twitch has banned the 1678 channel for unknown reasons.

Any idea when (or if) the stream will be back up?

Unfortunately, twitch has implemented an IP address-wide ban, and we cannot stream using other streaming services, so unless twitch unbans us we cannot stream.

Edit: We started a new stream on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jLybS5SMKVg

I would love to hear why you guys got banned. Does it have to do with Copyrighted Music?

No, we were actually able to stream on YouTube without problem because of the lack of music. We believe that the ban had to do with non-video game content, though some other FRC channels have managed to avoid this.

It's odd that they would issue an IP ban, rather than a user ban for that though.

The results:

Winning Alliance: 1678/2122/9073
Finalist Alliance: 1671, 2073, 9498
Chicks N Charge Winners: 1678/295/4643

Gracious Professionalism Award: 1671
Innovative Design Award: 1678
Innovative Control System Award: 2122
#Swag Award: 2085

Thank you to everyone who made this event a success, I would thank you all personally but I'm on my phone. We loved having everyone here once again.

P.S. 2122, 1671, 1678, and 2085 are like the coolest teams ever. Not to put any other teams down, but these guys were seriously awesome!!

Two things I'll say about CCC:

1) Our pre-rookie team from Woodland (operating under 9678) had such a blast at their first FRC event that they are figuring out how to come with us to MTTD in a few months!

2) We love seeing our friends from Idaho, Team TATORS! Thanks for making the huge trek to compete in CA. It's been fun to play on the same side of the glass two years in a row. Come back this spring so we can make it a hat trick! ;)

I actually missed most of the event, but I'm very proud of our students that stepped up to fill key roles on our team and help out other teams throughout the event.

Thanks to everyone who worked this event. Special shout out to Andrew Nabors for working his tail off behind the scenes to get all robots FMS connected. You rock Nabors!

I'm doing this on my cell phone with my sausage fingers, so I'll keep it short.

I want to echo Michael's comments. This was a great tournament because of the support we received from so many people. 2073 can not thank you enough!

1678 once again demonstrated why they are such a fantastic team, both on and off the field.
With the final pick during alliance selection, they chose 9073, our practice team robot driven by a rookie drive team. This robot had been having some intermittent issues. 1678 flooded our pit with people and worked with us to get both the robot and the drive team up to speed so they could be a contributing player on a tournament winning alliance. THANK YOU!!

One question. Does any one know where I can find the video of the match where 2073 snipped an opposing alliance truss shot out of mid air?

Thanks for the shoutout Mike, I wouldn't be doing it if I didn't enjoy it. I'm glad everything worked out and ran smoothly for the event. I would like to extend the shoutout to Michael Adam and Rick Durante for running the system and helping cycle the field as quickly as possible. And of course, can't forget about the team who helped put CheesyArena together and Austin for helping troubleshoot issues during setup.

Overall just wanted to say that 1671 had a great time at the event. It was a relaxing but still competitive event (nice for a change) to allow new team members and leaders to really jump in and take charge and most importantly learn to prepare themselves for the upcoming season.

See you at Madtown Throwdown!
