Florida off-seasons this year

What offseason events are happening in Florida this year?
We currently have down Panther Prowl and Roboticon, any other events in Florida we and/or other teams are missing out on?

As you probably know *being a part of ninjineers*, the south florida FRC community has decided against having an off-season even this year. :]

Yeah as of right now (8:05 Tuesday morning) there is only Roboticon and Panther Prowl. We may seen another event in the coming years (#BotsOnYachts, just kidding) but not this off-season.

Any information on Roboticon as far as how many teams will compete there and how to register? Thanks in advance.

Here is the link to Roboticon's website, it seems registration is not open yet. But I would check here every couple of day just to see.

Just went live with Roboticon Today - Oct. 11 & 12 at the Univ. of Tampa. We can accommodate up to 24 teams - maybe a couple more, but we also have FTC & FLL teams on Saturday so it can get tight. Might be able to get creative though!

Registration will open soon - Costs will be no more than $175 paid in advance, but we're still finalizing details. Should have everything worked out by the end of June at the latest.

Awesome news to hear. Robocon was a fun event last year, and I bet it will be even better this year.

Thank you for updating us!

Bots on Yachts. It would be so much fun if we could just figure out a way to do it

Hey Drew, I was in town a week ago and stopped by the scrimmage at the Swamp. Your robot was there, where were you?

Gary, had I known you were going to be there, I would have canceled my other obligations :] . I was working that day. This trying to be a grown up thing gets in the way of robots too much. Anyway, what did you think of the robots?
