Mentoring Opportunities

Hello Everyone!
We are an up and coming robotics team, and we need help getting ourselves on track. Two years ago, we made it to the First Robotics competition, and did well for a first year team (rank 20 out of 61). However, our mentors and experienced members all left or graduated, causing us to be, in a sense, lost and stranded. We were told to come here, and have so far found it a revolutionary website for us! We are now wondering if there are any mentors out there willing to contact us and help, or if anyone out there would spare us information on where to get mentors.

Thank you so much in advance for any help we receive!

I've sent you a PM with more information but I'm a community outreach and awards mentor.

Re: Mentoring Opportunities

I'm pointing one of the L.A. FIRST Senior Mentors (and maybe a couple of longtime mentors) over here. I can't help, myself, that I know about, being already with another team, but I'd be lyin' if I said I couldn't try to rustle some help up.

For what it's worth to all you non-Californians, the team is officially located somewhere just north of Los Angeles International Airport. I'd get more specific, but I'm a little lazy tonight. :p

Have you tried contacting he USC School of Engineering? Or Loyola Marymount? Also, UCLA and RAND are close enough that they might have interested folks.
