Right now we have 6 FRC teams bringing 7 FRC Robots, early registrations is now open to pre-rookie frc teams and teams from other states, it is a great event and would love to have out of state teams attend.

Re: RobotiCon Tampa Bay 2014

So I can say that RobotiCon was a superb event. The staff really seemed to care about our issues and did everything to help us. Despite the lack of a large volunteer force it did not feel like an understaffed event. Some things that were great were referees taking time to talk to us post match about calls made or not made, the impromptu volleyball tournament on Saturday (Congratulations 2383 Ninjineers on winning that), the alumni meeting, and we really came together as a community to help the event staff when we could. I can not recommend enough that teams choose RobotiCon as their offseason, the feel a flow of the event reminds me A LOT of IRI, which is a huge compliment as I felt everyone was competing their hardest while still having a great time.

Re: RobotiCon Tampa Bay 2014

Thank you very much for the very kind words, James. We know this is such a hard time for you right now, and hope you know our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I posted a post-event wrap up at http://roboticon.net/2014/10/14/robo...uccessful-fun/ , with links to photo galleries. Event results are here: http://roboticon.net/event-results/

We're recruiting a ROBOTICON Planning Team for the 2015 event, to address the volunteer staffing issue and logistic challenges, but overall, we were pleased with the event, too, and already have some great ideas for next year.

Thank you, James, and all the great volunteers who gave of their time, energy, enthusiasm and love of FIRST to make ROBOTICON possible.
