What exactly was the foul for? I missed the beginning of the match.

From the match I would guess contact inside the frame perimeter on 1114 due to their unfortunate collision and entanglement with 2056, but I didn't hear an official verdict either.

Regarding the webcast - huge props to the IRI video team for setting up nearly instant youtube uploads for match video. I stopped watching the live feed after it froze at a critical point a few too many times. With the "instant videos", I could watch the whole matches without interruption (and even pause and replay the big moments). I hope too see instant videos at more events in future!

That would be the FIRSTWA video team, suplemented by local staff, that was doing that. FIRSTWA did do training as that was part of the reason that members of the FIRSTWA video crew and the FIRSTWA equipment went to IRI.

In regards to the webcast, the entire thing was phenomenal. Despite the occasional lag and freezing screens, the high quality, available viewing choices, instantly recorded and posted matches, and perfect camera positioning made for a user-friendly and extremely entertaining way to experience the event. Huge props to the PNW team for such an outstanding job.

Speaking of, I have a personal request. Would the PNW video team be interested in writing a white paper on how they stream and video the events they do? I think everyone could learn something from this fantastic group of people, and the world would be a better place if all webcasts were done like this one.

+1 Having Video like this would let people at home following their teams. Making it LOUD. It should be a 1st standard.

Keep hitting "load more" at the bottom and you'll see all of the matches. The best part was each video was up within 5 minutes of a match finishing.

OK, so there are a few things to say.

First, we would like to thank everybody for all the support we received to make the live stream happen. The event was lots of fun and we learned alot.

We are working on documentation that should be released by the end of the summer.

We also archived the full field stream from elimination matches. That archive is on a computer in the rode case that will be headed back to Washington. Those videos should be up eventually.

There is still not automatic high goal scoring and it wasn't a misunderstanding. Similar to the default excuse for pedastool lighting issues the announcers made up a mostly true explanation without blaming the ref who just hit the button too soon. They decided to count refs as sensors
