I'm sitting here in Kahana, Maui right now. Currently it's a balmy 74 deg. Our flight out is scheduled for tomorrow at 11 AM. We're gettin' out while the gettin's good!

The Big Island is predicted to get as much as 20" of rain while the rest may get up to 10".

It's been fantastic visiting this wonderful state, we'll be back. For now, WE'RE OUTTA HERE!!

The Big Island (Hawaii island) is always the one that gets hit the hardest, shielding the rest of us on Oahu. Many previous hurricanes/tropical storms have hurt that island or Kauai really bad in the past, versus Oahu.
Big Island also has frequent Earthquakes because of their active volcanoes.

Costco, Walmart and Target are the worst places to be when preparing for a hurricane.:ahh:
