Team Surveys and Metrics
 

Does your team do annual student surveys for data gathering or trend spotting purposes? What sort of questions do you ask? We're gearing up for our official season start this weekend and I'm toying with the idea of handing out surveys to the entire team. I have some good ideas already for questions, but I'd love to hear what some of the established teams have observed over the years and what they've asked. We naturally get all sorts of quantitative data through STIMS, but it would be really interesting to have more information to share with our community about the long term impact of our local FIRST programs.

Something that is pretty useful for recruitment purposes is asking about where the students heard about the team and how they initially got involved. That can help to pinpoint where your strong and weak points are in terms of recruitment.
