Workshop Seating?

What type of seating do you have in your workshop / assembly areas. What would you buy if you got to choose new chairs / stools?

We are getting a new lab this year and we don't have any seats yet. We want something that can easily be stacked out of the way if we need to clear floor space. The area the seats will be used in are near tables that will be used for projects like VEX robots or electronics work. We'll need to buy about 24 of them.

We have various types from bench stools to roll around little seats. However, no one can work on the robot while seated. It just can't be done.

Talk to local schools and Universities and see if they have any chairs in storage they're willing to donate. My university occasionally offers miscellaneous furniture to our Greek organizations as the university upgrades furniture. And prior to renovations, I know our old gym was full of things like that.

Food for thought: I first was going to suggest you look for chairs with backs as many people tend to prefer them. I went to search this to back (heh) my claim, and after an initial search, it turns out that stools are actually better for your back. Later tonight I can do a better job of confirming this.

We have these chairs in our lab. They are surprisingly comfortable, durable and look nicer than the standard school chairs.
