The add event button was a little late showing up for me too.

Re: Registration 2015

It looks like no additional slots have opened for today's registration at San Diego, Ventura, or Phoenix west, which are all full. We have full events at only 21 teams, during second registration! Huh? Combined with not knowing where we are on the waitlist and the fact that events fill to capacity in a matter of mere minutes, this is ludicrous. How are we supposed to know where to register? How can someone possibly take a gamble on a waitlist of unknown position and unknown additional capacity forthcoming, and miss out on registering for something that's open now. This system "inhales audibly." Not happy. Vegas it is for now. Our school administration and parents are going to throw a fit.

And also, why did FIRST ever remove that single page that showed all event capacities, number of registered teams, and open spots? We REALLY need that back.

Forgive my ignorance. We'd like to attend three regionals this year, but I can't figure out how to make that happen. Any ideas out there?

http://www.usfirst.org/roboticsprograms/frc/calendar/

There you can see that unrestricted registration starts next week. You'll have to wait and see what's still available.

I hear ya, sandrag. We're on the waitlist for Northern Lights. The regionals fill up pretty fast.

Same for Northern Lights and Lake Superior, the two Duluth, MN regionals (and probably others), which are are both "full" at 15-20 below their usual capacities.

This page is updating about every minute.

It appears LSR and Northern Lights have not added any slots either for today...

They'll be added as time goes on - waitlists are for late registering rookies and teams that haven't registered for their first event.

Minnesota teams are known for registering late, which is why there are so many waitlist spots this year.

We need another Regional in Minnesota or we need to add one in Iowa!

Judging by how many regionals are at capacity, we need more regionals everywhere.

Yeah I'm feeling that doing three regionals on the west coast (without back to back) is going to be an impossibility this year.

On a completely different topic but the same sort of issue... WE NEED MORE COMPETITIONS!! This is happening in FLL and Vex (maybe FTC as well?). We are hosting a dual FLL event (32 teams - sharing it with 2085) because not enough folks are hosting events to meet demand. We are hosting multiple Vex events (sharing it with a middle school vex team), and I am flooded with emails from teams that are begging to participate. I am so tempted to start charging extra $$ because the demand is so high!! (I won't do that.)
