Lots of speculation and misinformation.

We were told we needed to change the string color because it was illegal as-is. We are unable to do this right now, but will figure something out for the future.

The team is having a great time at this regional and is accepting of this ruling. We appreciate the hard work of all the volunteers at this event.

What if you added some flags (like paper or tape or those electrical marking flags) to the line every foot or two that would be virtually ignored by your winch and would maintain the all-black motif.

All black (almost) everything.

Glad to hear it's moderately sensible. If it's a materials issue, 57 should have a reel of high viz yellow spectra cord in their pit. If it's a time constraint issue... Well that's understandable and I hope we get to see Alfred in action in Vegas or champs

Re: 2015 Dallas Regional

Some of the teams yesterday had to go home early because of the snow, per school rules, and I would just like to thank the teams that helped them run their robots.

Specifically Robo Vikes (4206) and Team Appreciate (2468) who were helping run CODE 'N' Robotics (4076)'s bot.

Also I will say that 148 string line is very hard to see, even when up close.

I just turned on the webcast and it shows them at match 46! Are they really far behind? Are they going to be able to finish all the matches?

Last I heard yesterday, they stopped at 3:30 yesterday due to the weather, and were going to play qualificaton matches from 11 to 3:30 today.

How much snow would warrant that kind of response??

Much less in Texas than in some other states. Wisconsin springs to mind. :)

And a 987 alliance just got 160. Both are awesome robots this year.

So what happened to 148 and 987 in the quarter final match game 4? Why were both bots disabled?
