Driver's Station Joystick reset?

With using a new laptop for our drivers station we have the joysticks set up to not be easily rearranged. When ever the laptop is reset the 2 controllers get flipped around in the Dashboard and we have to go to joystick set up and flip them back. It happens every time the laptop is turned off. Is there a way to keep them in the same order? after the computer is shut off?

I'm not sure if there is anything you can do in Windows.

The easiest fix I can think of would be just swapping joystick 1 and 2 in the code. That way the default order would be the correct order.

Ok, Thanks I hadn't thought of that.

Another thing might be to switch the ports that the joysticks are plugged in to on the computer.

As far as I remember, there is a text file that corresponds to the driver station settings (ip configuration, team number, etc.), and I believe that you can set any of the 4 joysticks to a certain name so that when that joystick is plugged in it will always associate itself with the number from the text file.
